Election Disclosure:
The following information related to the District’s elections for members of the Board of Directors is being posted by the District pursuant to Section 2051.201 of the Texas Government Code:
1. The date and location of the next election for members of the Board of Directors of the District:
Elections for directors of the District are conducted on the May uniform election date in even-numbered years. Accordingly, the next election for members of the Board of Directors of the District shall be conducted on the first Saturday in May 2026, which is May 2, 2026.
The election shall be conducted at the polling places established by the County to serve the regular election precincts within the District.
2. The requirements and deadline for filing for candidacy of each elected office of the District:
In order to be qualified to serve as a director of a municipal utility district, Section 54.102 of the Texas Water Code requires that a person be at least 18 years old, a resident citizen of the State of Texas, and either own land subject to taxation in the district or be a qualified voter within the district.
A person who desires to be a candidate for the director election must timely complete and submit an application for a place on the ballot for the election. Applications for a place on the ballot may be obtained from the District’s Administrative Office located at 4301 Bull Creek Road, Ste. 150, Austin, Texas 78731, or may be downloaded and printed out from the Secretary of State’s website (https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/index.shtml).
The deadline for filing the application for a place on the ballot is 78 days prior to the election. For the May 2, 2026 director election, the deadline for filing the application for a place on the ballot will be Friday, February 14, 2026. The deadline for write-in candidates is 74 days before the election. For the May 2, 2026 director election, the deadline for write-in candidates is Tuesday, February 18, 2026.
Completed applications for a place on the ballot may be filed in person or by mail to the District at the following address: 4301 Bull Creek Road, Ste. 150, Austin, Texas 78731.

*Financial audits are required by Texas law to be done annually. They are done for each fiscal year, which runs from October 1st through September 30th. The audits are done after the fiscal year has ended and are generally completed and accepted by the Board of Directors a few months after the fiscal year-end. Recently, State law requires that after the Board has accepted the audit, it will be posted to the website.
Board of Directors Elections:
The next director election is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024. The District will establish the polling place(s) for the election, which will be provided in the Notice of Election.
Applications for a place on the ballot may be filed from January 1, 2024, to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 16, 2024. For information about the requirements for filing for candidacy for a position on the Board, please visit the Texas Secretary of State’s candidate website, at https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/candidates/index.shtml.
