Texas District Information

SB 2 (as adopted by the 86th Texas Legislature in 2019) is Texas Tax Code Section 26.18. The provision requires taxing units to maintain an Internet website or have access to a generally accessible Internet website that may be used for the purposes of posting certain financial and other information about the taxing unit. The term "taxing unit" includes any special districts (MUD's, WCID's, Limited Districts, etc.) that levy ad valorum property taxes on the properties with the districts.

This Texas District Information website provides districts with a subscription to post the information required by the Texas Tax Code, Section 26.18.
